Mr Stamper was a full time athlete of the GB Taekwondo national team for almost a decade, achieving scores of elite titles through his career including WT World and European podiums. Following his move to a career in high performance coaching, Mr Stamper became one of the most successful coaches in Great Britain’s Taekwondo history, coaching Britain’s first ever male WT World Champion. |

Mr Moss has over 45 years of teaching experience, being awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for services to Taekwondo, the Community and Charity. |
Programme
- 4×105 minute training sessions led by expert coaches
- Open to all class levels
- Gain experience of new training methods from an Olympian and high performance National Team Coach
- This course develops conditioning and sparring skills (there is no Poomsae/ Tul patterns training on this course)
Schedule
- 09:30 – 09:45 Registration
- 10:00 – 11:45 Conditioning for taekwondo
- 11:45 – 12:00 Late arrival registration (final registration)
- Tea break
- 12:00 – 13:45 ITF rules technical training (open to all athletes) [Grandmaster Moss IX]
- 13:45 – 14:45 Lunch break
- 14:45 – 16:30 Introduction to performance training methods for taekwondo [Martin Stamper]
- Tea break
- 16:45 – 18:30 WT rules technical training (open to all athletes) [Martin Stamper]
- 18:30 – 19:00 Wrap-up
The event is open to all current BSTF membership holders. The programme is suitable for taekwondo athletes specialising in either competition rulesets (ITF rules sparring / WT rules sparring disciplines). The programme is designed for all experience levels, though groups may be formed based on experience level and or gender and or weight for some parts of the sessions.
Fees
- £50 general membership holders
- £10 athlete pass (A, B, C class) membership holders (80% discount for student-athlete pass holders)

Additional
- Schedule subject to change.
- Club Coaches who would like to attend with their team as an observer can register at no cost — select “Attending as observer”
- Coaches attending and taking part in the physical training will need to pay the full training fees — select “General pass member”
- Only BSTF members registered for the course will be permitted entry to the training hall
- All participants must bring their full sparring equipment (WT or ITF rules), 2x kick paddles, water bottle, snacks to last the day!
