The ICO-LUSL event is a WTF rules sparring dual tournament.*

The ICO WTF rules sparring tournament welcomes student athlete entries from all university clubs nationwide. This tournament begins in the afternoon [PM] after the conclusion of the LUSL event.

The LUSL divisions are open to students at London institutions in membership of BUCS and subscribed to LUSL, who meet LUSL eligibility regulations and takes place in the morning [AM].

*A dual tournament format means that two separate brackets are contested on the same day, one after the other. Essentially this allows players to travel to a single event but compete in two tournaments, guaranteeing all athletes at least two matches. The dual tournaments’ brackets have different weight boundaries (e.g., Olympic vs World Championship weights) to allow for a wider range of potential opponents.

Please note that athletes from London clubs may enter both LUSL and ICO divisions as they take place one after the other.
